Was that bet made for last year or this year? ;)

From memory it was this year but I'm only cupping balls so I'm not probably panicking as much as the other two

Replace the word panicking with shear excitement

This post has made me reassess my blasé attitude about the cupping of the aforementioned plum sack

Thats cheating...lol

Ill say it now..if HV pull out the same crap they dished up in the last quarter of last week...they can bend over and kiss their asses goodbye.

Luckily, theyre a completely different side on a smaller oval

Most Grand Finals would not be played on small ovals (hope valley) so probably not good for them going forward if they make it

Agree with previous. Two black and white sides to win Saturday. Great result for Kilburn given last years experience if they can get through to A3,
Good luck to Salisbury in their game as well.

Had a go at breaking down how many from each club received invites to the medal, pretty even spread:

3 - Kilburn, North Haven, Salisbury
2 - Eastern Park, Pooraka, Westminster OS, Kenilworth, Hectorville
1 - Hope Valley, Glenunga

FWIW, suprised Baker from Pooraka didn't get a gig but the my quinella is still in play.

It does, but I'm guessing there was a tie in there, or one of the players I've mentioned might've played a couple of twos games and got 5-6 votes.

Winners - Kilburn and Salisbury in A's, Salisbury and Hope Valley in B's.

Next week at North Haven- NH vs Salisbury and NH vs Hope Valley for a place in the GF.

Hopefully NH don't worry about the 2 losses today. In front in both games with a minute left and didn't get the job done. No excuses.[emoji109]

Yep no excuses, not good enough today. Words can't describe how bitterly disappointed I am at the moment, it's hard to take. The positive is we're still in it and it's another day at the office next week. It's crucial all 44 of us players show some character and bounce back.

Don't worry too much if your A grade doesn't make the GF, you'll still get the opportunity to go up.

and you should take it, you guys are definitely good enough.

Lisa you can't say "Don't worry about it"'. It's nice to be offered to go up but for your clubs history and culture it's worth a truckload!
