Speaking of dung hills, right next to our lovely home in Yank is a dairy farm and 50 odd of the sweetest girls have been down right by our fence today and there is no wind. That's a smell I'm sure a few of you Houghton lads know. :D

C.Schutz v Lindholm:
Cam is alot more atheletic than Lindholm but Lindholm knows how to use his body well in contests around the ground. Dont know if he will have the legs to follow Schutz around.

Mcmurtrie v Parker:
Parker tagged Mcmurtrie out of the game last time and i know he is out to make amends expect. Could be a crucial match up in the outcome.

Davis v Regan:
Both these blokes are bulls out of gates and have no regard for there own body. Would be a dream match up on each other

Keetch v Bradford:
Both veterans of there teams and will be hoping to lead there teams to victory. Keetch coming back to some real good form after a long lay off and Bradford has got the job done all year.

Gilling v Stead
Gilling has proven to be one of the best full forwards in the comp. I must admit to not knowing much about Stead but im sure he is a decent backman.

Bray v Scuppan:
Schuppan took the chocies earlier in the year but Bray come back into form over the last 2 games and like Mcmurtrie is ready to make amends

J.Horne v Walczak:
Not sure if these 2 will match up on each other but both are x factors to each team with Horne hard to contain when the ball hits the deck and Walczak having the run and carry off the last line of defence and not afraid to take the big marks late in the game.

Mcdonnell v Grimley:
The leading goal kicker of the year will take some stopping but i feel Grimley is up to the task. Will also need the whole backline to stiffle his leads.

Lech v J.Currie:
Lech could create all sorts of problems with has hard leading and strong hands across the half forward line. Currie is a solid defender and reads the play well expect a tight tussle between the 2

T.Hyde v Birtle:
All depends if Hyde plays didnt look too good after coming off in the first 5 mins last week but ill take Morell's word for it. Having seen Hyde play but know he will be dangerous up forward

J.Hyde v Glanville:
Should be a good clash between these two Hyde creates a good contest and Glanville is a smart CHB who gets in the right spots

Nice wrap up BZB27, no mention of Sajn lol. Schutz is your key and Lindholm is better served elsewhere, he's played a role for a week or two but not in a GF, Parker also played a one off role but J Mac is too good to let that happen again, Keetchy we haven't seen yet but a match up with CB means you would be wasting talent and leadership, Leck with a K is still a kid and at 16 he may find a Grand Final against big boys a test, good against Uni boys but 50/50 as to him even playing, Franceschinis is your best defender and I would expect him to go to Trav Hyde, if he does actually play, and contrary to morells words of wisdom, is in doubt and we will give him every chance to get up. The great thing about both teams is their ability to throw their players around and in different spots. Frankly this game could be a massive blow out in favour of the best team in the comp, or the underdog could just serve it up and make it tight at the finish. Whatever the result I believe the 2 clubs have a respect for each other that will last a lifetime. ;)

Someone has 2

Maybe she can tell me all about him ;)

Steady's no racehorse but still one of the most reliable defenders in the game. A former captain, very good at directing the back six. Absolute gun back in the day (won a B&F at Blackwood and came third in the Mail Medal a couple of times) but dogged by injuries in recent years. Veteran of 300+ games of senior footy, this will be his last game. That about sums things up. :)

Absolutely. Really glad we came to Mitchell Park this year and wish we'd done it sooner, because this is the old fella's last year. I haven't seen him enjoy his footy so much in ages.. Will definitely be sticking around the club and coming to watch next year. :D
