Game over.

At least next week's prelim promises to be a match worth watching, even if corrupted by horrid pixellation and compression artifacts.

WWT goalscorers
2 Wundke

6 of the 7 WWT goals scored by ex Southee Adelaide footballers

Going to be a close finish
WA might be too quick in the 2nd half
WA should still win from here

11-13 WT
9-11 WA

Great effort by WWT to hang on, I thought Westies had them about the middle of the last quarter

Well done Eagles.
Just that bit too strong
Whoever plays them is going to have to have a game plan that restricts the forward line.

Again I see eagles were advantaged by the free kick count
Can some one please tell me how they do it.as it doesn't matter how they are travelling win ,lose or draw they get full advantage in this area
It boggles the mind how they get it
I think the count was 10 -2 late in the second quater that's pretty handy

Serious question - why can't a player be reported for striking their own team-mate? Is there a rule that says you can only get reported for hitting an opposition player? Obviously Hartlett didn't mean to hit his team-mate but that is besides the point. Players are frequently reported during contests with opposition players for reckless contact when competing for the ball even though their intention is not to hit a player

Anyway its great to get a win on any occasion. It feels even better when you beat an opponent who played really well. I was definitely worried about how we'd shape up after the week off but from the first moment it was evident we had come to play. If we can bring that attitude to the GF I am sure we can knock off either Centrals or West.

Terrible news for Angus Rowntree going down with what appears to be another serious knee injury and who is a virtual certainty to miss out on another GF (after also missing out our last Premiership through injury). His toughness in close will be hugely missed.

The Club as a whole should be very proud. All three grades into Grand Finals. Should be a big weekend in a fortnight.
