Mallala goes bam bam bam and they hit the lead at half time, 9.2 to 8.3. Heading home now but ripper contest.

With all due respect to the said players, I'm surpirsed HB would poll so many (if any) votes based on the week by week thrashings they received.

In a B Grade game they received the 3, 2, 1 in a 25 goal loss

Niklaus not getting the 3 after he kicked 34 goals is bemusing too. But overall, the right guy was the winner, hard to argue second spot either.
Disappointed Farrelly didn't get many votes.

Judging by the names, I'd be guessing that the ticket was filled out incorrectly as the 3 point lad didn't even get in Hamley's best, he had an almost identical name to a United lad who kicked 5.
Either that or the better United players gave the umpires a barrage of shit for the day.

Would have had to have been a team effort not to poll one vote.

Take nothing away from from Ned, but that voting makes a bit of a joke of the medal. Id hope the coordinator pulls the umpires aside and clarifies the importance of their votes..

That was my first thoughts too but the game where zilm got votes was against balak so didnt rob anyone in contention so no damage done.
I looked at our games and all seem to be pretty reasonable except for our first game against hummocks where i think they have the order back to front.
