Pronouncing someones name incorrect and linking that to the fall of the competition is going a bit over the top.

In 2015 the average attendance for 7 of the 8 sovereign clubs is increased by removing data involving interloper teams.

I could go back further, but 2015 is the lowest. It includes the lowest crowd involving Central (by 1000 and the lowest actual figure of all time); the 2nd lowest involving Glenelg; lowest involving North and lowest involving Sturt (except for an estimated crowd 100 years ago)

Not sure it is really relevant what they say.
I care what the rank and file SANFL members and supporters think about how their league is travelling.

Dols

Did you even understand what Spelly wrote?
That's the lowest ever average crowd figure for a SANFL season! Central recorded their lowest ever crowd. Glenelg and Sturt, their second lowest ever crowds. I don't understand how you could still believe that the majority of clubs have improved crowds after reading that.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Because, like the SANFL Commission, he BELIEVES the lies.
The figures must be wrong!
There were 9K @ the 'Walker Game' & 6K @ the Clare 'Showdown', 40K went to the GF last year!
We are all delusional - the Competition has never been healthier!

Can't say I am aware of that "not fussed" category of people Jim.
I find we can group these people two ways.
1: People who want the AFL sides out, and prefer SANFL to AFL.
2: People who want them to stay, and prefer AFL to SANFL.
I am yet to meet ANYBODY who prefers SANFL to AFL who wants the reserves to stay in our league. I have met a few people who prefer AFL that understand and acknowledge how unreasonable the set up is, but want the reserves to stay because it is more beneficial to the Crows and the Power to have it that way. Usually however, the AFL mob are basically uneducated about the issues and very arrogant in their assertations that we accommodate their reserves. They're often just unable to understand how something that they think is good could be an imposition for others. If you'll excuse the analogy, it is very American.

What group do the people who attend SANFL every week now fall into then?

The ones that love their SANFL club and want to support their team. And just because they are attending doesn't mean they are "not fussed" that AFL Reserves are in the league.

On Channel 9 News last night Tredrea said the SANFL Commission will be making a decision after the Grand Final as to whether AFL Reserves will be limited to 14 per game next year and whether Port will lose their home games.

Now is the time to let your club know what you want!

Will the vote also dictate the future of the smears' reserves reserves side?

While well short of the Only Real Solution to this mess, it would be a step in the right direction. I would welcome the change as much as I would welcome the signs that the commission is starting to assert itself in matters pertaining to the interlopers.

A positive vote from the Glenelg delegate, along with a stated intent to further limit the interlopers, would be enough to see me resume membership of the club.

DOnt forget to get the SANFL annual licence fee properly valued by independent interstate valuers.

WAFL getting $400K, VFL clubs can earn over $1 mill for 3-4 year affiliations with AFL Clubs.

We get $50K.

YOu want to hurt these pricks.

Go for their hip pockets.

They say they we cant afford it well.... bugger ye orf cos thats the value.

Not hard.

Yeah agree, when they play at Alberton, cap em to 10 and go to Alberton and watch a nice percentage booster.
