what, in the injury room?

which two other completely different players would you like to compare next?

Obviously, it hasn't occurred to you that both White and Polek play on the wing. Watching Henderson against them would be like seeing Phar Lap racing against a glacier. That's all I'm saying ladies....

Different standard but when Henderson was at Centrals he use to win all their time trials by a mile and was regarded as being a great athlete

That's true. I bet he's even better now over 1000 meters, but He's not quick over 5 meters, and to be an AFL wingman, you need to be. Crows need someone like Jetta in their midfield I reckon.

They can't really get rid of 10 or more players though.

Amazes me how Paul Stewart continues to remain on the list. Showed in the games he played later in the year he is not up to AFL standard, very good SANFL player though. Kane Mitchell likewise. Probably Andrew Moore and Aaron Young also.

Where do you stop though, those guys just lucky they are the 30th to 35th best players on the list and continually survive the end of season cull!

I think that shows perhaps Ports 'depth' isnt as good as first thought. Players like Achee, S Gray etc have taken longer to come on and blokes like Moore and Mitchell just arn't quite up to AFL level. Port have cut 8 and could have easily cut another 2 or 3.

This is correct and some of the reason we failed to live up to the expectation of the AFL community this year.

While we weren't struck down by a long injury list, we lost a few key people at key times and we didn't have the depth to cover them. Some of them you can't cover, Wines, Polec, Trengove and Carlile all went down at various times ( or all year like Polec ) and we couldn't cover them.

Ryder missed a few and I think that threw the balance they had worked on over the summer out the window.

While we've got a handful who can come up from SANFL level the players like Clurey, Mitchell, Stewart, Moore, Young etc are the same ones to come up and down without ever really cementing a place.

I think Port's 20th to 30th best players are close to the worst in the comp in comparison to other clubs 20th to 30th best players.

Pretty much every club in the country would have a few players that are good B graders but just not A grade material

They have less quality at the top and down the bottom but I reckon Port's fringe players are way off the mark, perhaps it's to do with the rotating of them between the SANFL & AFL every 3 weeks, it's slowing their development.

Only because of injuries

When the Crows AFL side was fit meaning their SANfL side had their real 20-30 players they were almost unbeatable

Dogs back in the race for bomber Carlisle. If that's the case then it makes me think Talia certainly wont be there in 2016...

apparently talia has rejected a 2 year offer.

Makes me think he will end up at the crows via PSD or maybe a third rounder, which would fill our needs well i would think

afl.com.au reporting that Aish is unlikely go to do Collingwood, given they would be focussed on getting Treloar.

Also that he hasn't officially told the Lions he wants a trade, with the inference that he may seek to be traded to one of the current finals teams.

Would put Hawthorn squarely in the frame there i would think, but I would have thought pick 17-19 or whatever it will be wouldnt be enough to satisfy the Lions.

I wonder whether the crows will have a crack at him? Would think so
