I am so angry. As a mother of a future footballer it is discusting that a player could knock someone out with a king hit from behind and nothing happens about it. why why
my son came home from school and told me that the morons in control wouldnt even look at the video
i saw it before it was taken down it is really discusting thing to do and should have been banned for a very long time
so does that mean compass are playing the Encounter Bay Football League. they threw out something that is a total discraceful thing.
i hope none of them have it happen to their kids

i hope mount compass beat the thugs supporters.
so discusted

It cracks me up that people are surprised. Until Kevin goes bays will always get everything on a platter. When does the kid that punched the umpire return?? That will be another proud day for Kev and the bay's

Wow. I dont know what happened but some serious allegations getting thrown around here. Surely if there is evidence compass would do the right thing by their player and request an investigation....if they are unhappy with the league verdict or response surely their is a process in place to appeal it higher and get it resolved better. Instead will this boilover tomorrow because league has failed to act? Certainly hope not...league has a duty of care to provide a safe environment for their players and hold individuals accountable for their actions if they overstep the mark. Would love to know the full story though...

2nd hand info but any truth that the report was thrown out on a technicality in regards to way it was submitted? You'd hope that common sense would prevail over a clerical issue (if true)

Worth watching today, I don't think there's a whole lot of love between these two.

Great game and massive crowd. Was awsome having a local granfinal rather than out in the sticks
Mount compass were good all year but bays just had the skills and the smarts. Compass were clumsy in tackles to many high and hoban although at times was getting his hand on the ball his taps were not effective for such a big bloke he does nothing around the ground which really lets them down. The bays backline is awsome and they held the compass forwards so well.

It seemed to me that compass were not mentally prepared having the whole local community rallying to get the bays player rubbed out rather than controling what they could control eg match ups rather than hoping bays would be without redden. I cant see them winning anything why they have the likes of number 11 and 5 running around. They both dont get near the ball and gave away stupid undisciplined free kicks. 11 gave away 2 50s in the last qaurter which resulted in 2 goals and 5 is not an a grade backman

Bring on next year

Just because the other towns dont have a Maccas or KFC doesnt mean they're out in the sticks?

I reckon its great how the finals and Grand Finals are shared around, attendances have been fantastic in recent years at all various venues out in the sticks, has to be better than holding them at 1 or 2 venues in the big smoke, so to speak, oh and congrats to the Bays on their Premiership.

Nup - maybe that was Compass's act of defiance/showing their displeasure at the league?

Straight after the game a Compass supporter with some liquid courage on board went and belted the back of the broadcasting van and spoke his mind aimed at KC....retreated pretty quickly when Mrs C stuck her head out.

Now to cap it off we get a committee member acting offensively towards a league official.
And this was the same person that took their kid to another club because they wanted them to play competitive football not just practice matches every week how's that helping the club your involved with
I've got a list as long as my arm that's dis functional about the club I love and I'm just a supporter imagine what it's like on the inside.
I hope they fix it or I'll have to encourage my son like others have to go else where

Well I hope so too. We need all the clubs to be strong on and off field.
