So as mentioned on the Div 1 forum there is a strong rumour going around that Gary McIntosh is taking the reins at Hope Valley for season 2016.
Apparently Jarman on the Rush Hour started the rumour... Not sure if you could believe anything that came out of Andrew Jarmans mouth...

shrek this is to you salisbury and kilburn would get belted week in week out in div 3 both teams were weak in div 4 the standard was the weakest it has ever been to even say salisbury would do good in div 3 is a joke

taking nothing away from either team but the talent is not up to div 3 standard and would be 10-15 goals thrashing week in week out safer for both clubs to hide in div 4

you may be right robb but, what if the clubs recruit really well with some really good talent ? isn't that what going up is about is to recruit well and try and stay up and consolidate. I think its a tad harsh from someone who is playing div 7 reserves footy to judge these teams! I hope they go up and recruit well and prove you wrong , because if they are to hide in div 4 what's the point of having a promotion and relegation then?

what does me playing div 7 have anything to do with the fact both these clubs on current squad and even with 4-5 better class players would still get rolled week in week out in div 3

i guess being at pooraka for all them years and either playing in div 3 or div 4 A grades over the years gives me some sort of credit behind what i say

it is safe to say that the golden grove side of past years in div 4 would have rolled both salisbury and kilburn by least 10 goals the quality is not in div 4 as past years harsh but true

Robb, I know you struggled when 'promoted' from grade 3 to 4. Who knows though, one day you may even finish primary school! You needn't worry your little brain about Kilburn, we will be fine. You forget some of us have actually played different divisions of A grade footy, and appreciate what we need to do to be successful when being promoted.

Thank you for your analysis of the quality of football based on what you read on the internet.
