No...don't think I ever saw Paton play at CHB...lol. There is not enough research completed. If you get named in best players often you will probably make the team. I think they would be better off asking coaches to nominate players and then you get in there based on number of votes you get. We are the ones who should know as we spend a lot of time planning against opposition and know who cuts us up and who doesn't. Don't think they will ever get it perfect but the one published last week was ignorant and so out of tune it wasn't funny.

Honestly, if they wanted the audience to give them any credibility they'd get this sort of shit right, of course there is never a right or wrong TOTY but Blind Freddy could see that the selected team was a shambles.

Looking at the div. 5 seemed somewhat odd too, No Elizabeth player made the side after a relatively successful season, the 4 Central United players listed took the cake though, the wooden spooners being the most represented club? Come on.

At a guess, think the SA Footballer version would probably include Garner (Smith), Smith (Lockleys), Kennedy (Lockleys), Stormonth (Lockleys) and Paton not at CHB.

Imagine it'll probably also include Wiles, Abdulla, Cook, Moss and NO MILKY BAR KID 8)

.... just at a guess that is..

well Garner (Smithfield) & Kennedy (Lockleys) basically alternated in the middle every wekk in the SA Footballer, but no mention of either in the Budget,.......plus many more!!! If they pick it on best players votes, then someone should tell them that is a long way from reality & are often just tokenism.

Red headed kids around the State are in tears at the exclusion of Daniel "Clutch" Bryant. Seems a little "Rangist" to me :(

No good just popping up the last few minutes of a game and slotting a clutch goal.. need 4 quarter performances to be in consideration 8)

Ingle Farm have announced all senior coaches have been reappointed for season 2016. This is a big positive for the club ensuring some stability and continuity, especially given the club has had issues over the years with regular turn over of coaches.

I believe there is also a strong push to field an under 18's side again next season.

Hopefully they did it better than club who announced all coaches had been re-appointed without actually talking to the coaches first.

The meetings were held 3 weeks before season end and all coaches have accepted the opportunity to coach in 2016. Club certainly did it the right way.
