10 year statue of limitations, interestingly timing.

Chick is a flog who is looking for a chance to get back into people's thoughts. People are acting like this is a surprise.

prednisone isn't performance enhancing, if anything it would probably have the opposite effect

Bullshit

it is the synthetic form of prednisolne and converted to predinsolone in the liver once taken

As one of the common Corticosteroids, it is used as an anti-inflamatory drug so it aids in recovery by assisting in muscle repair after strenuous exercise.

It increases fat metabolism via increase in metabolic rate, however personal experience tells me it also increases appitite so you need to be disciplined to avoid that effect but if you are taking it to strip fat and are motivated that increased appetite can be overcome.

Make no mistake it is performace enhancing.

The doses reported by Chick 20 mg - 50 mg are within therapeutic ranges so with prescription would meet any drug code.

As as sufferer of Ulcerative Collitis (inflammation of the large intestine) I was on the shit (prednisolone) for about 24 months from early 2000.

I was under the impression it's (prednisolone) nasty stuff if taken for extended periods of time.
I take it on the odd occasion I get a serious case of gout - but strictly for 2 days only.
I know someone who has taken it for much longer due to having alopecia - made them feel like shit.

Hmm, tricky one. If you sit at the Children's hospital and sit and wait for the prednisone to kick in to the asthmatic children (and it usually does about 3am) then I can tell you it IS performance enhancing.

My little bloke is on this stuff when he has a bout of bad asthma and he runs around the house like a mental patient till it wears off.

Is that performance enhancing - I'd suspect it was.

My little bloke is on it (as mentioned above) and we are on strict instructions to only allow three days of doses.

I've read it decreases metabolic rate and causes muscle catabolism via excess amino acid breakdown.

Selwood officially wants out.
I'd imagine whatever pick we get, it will be off loaded for Jetta or J.Redden

I know Sydney wants our Ruckmen, doesn't mean they always get what they want.

I really hope both WCE and Crows match the offer, make those Geelong pricks pay so they are not in a position to get Henderson or Smith. They havnt been outside the 8 for anywhere near long enough yet
