Well 1st crack at making a pitch this week and of course the covers were required last night. Looking forward to the 1st game on Turf at Angaston today, should be a bit in it and favour the bowlers but not impossible to get runs.

What a disgraceful spineless performance from GV yesterday, to be beaten outright in 57 overs is unbelievable. They lasted 27 overs in their 1st innings and just 13 in the 2nd

And Kapunda got the 21 required in tbe first over!!
Couldnt believe it when I heard it at the shops this morning, thought they were having a lend of me.
Got the weekend off work next week and the wife going to visit the son so thought I might have a beer or two and watch a bit of cricket. Might have to head down to Freeling and have a gander

And never turned up against Mallala in the A4, All out in 18 overs, Mallala took 8 to get the runs, maybe just a bad weekend for them and not a sign of things to come.

Must have been a very localised band of rain then. Or have they snuck a turf deck in already?

There was some solid rain somewhere between 4 - 7. Couldn't give an exact time, as I went straight back to sleep, but it was reasonably heavy and it stirred me several times.
