So much for Carltons huff and puff about not accepting less than pick 12

I think it's cos we got pick 11 just prior

But that shouldnt matter. For the last month all we have heard was that Yarran is worth pick 12 and that he was contracted and you would make him stay if you didnt get it. Then with 20 minutes to go you sign off on 19

Yeah and Brisbane werent trading Aish, end up in a deal involving 3 teams. Happens every trade period

Pies got out of it relatively unscathed in terms of departures as well. We lost three blokes who won't hurt us - although, if Seedsman gets it together, the Crows will do very well out of him. I hope he does. I like him.

Pretty happy with the swans trade period. Picked up a ruckman and a defender which we needed, got enough draft points to get academy player Callum Mills, who is put in the top 3 draft prospects of this year and hopefully Dunkley nominates us for his father son rule...

In a draft were we were destined to lose our best player, I think we have come out ok and added players which can certainly improve our side. Plus kept our 2 picks inside 15. Need to get the recruits fit and work on consistency but all have the capacity to be good solid AFL players IMO.

I guess the saints are looking at moving on and concentrating on other matters.

Talia couldn't get a game in the dogs defense which really while they are a developing team was hardly world beating.

We got him for bugger all, are developmental system is one of the best in the comp. just ask ted Richards, matner and laidler. All mediocre players from there original clubs and turned into handy defenders. And Tahlia is still young, so the upside is very good...

Sinclair is a handy one for us. Certainly the winners in that trade :)

Richards and Matener showed a heck of a lot more than Talia.
