Sutcliffe left ardrossan chasing cash. Heard they have signed another 1 or 2 to replace

Haughey and s.gatto gone from the Cougars

CMS struggling for recruits??

Sutcliffe only played about 4 or 5 games. Was on good coin. With the new points system and salary cap he would then have to be one of the high profile players if he wants more coin.
I did hear that each club in the league will get 13 points. If Sutcliffe left they could probably only recruit a couple at most

points system back up to 13 each. ardrossan and bute already allowed to have 15.

clubs like pasky, kadina and moonta will end up paying similar money per year even with the new cap. assuming the rules are followed some players might be on less per game but these clubs have the point space to get a couple of extra players in bumping the overall figure back up! not going to reduce spending in this league at all

correct mex the fools of directors voted to up the points.a system that could have evened the comp up now is doomed to keep the big three at the top with no hope of the others catching up without keeping points players in their system for 3 or 4 years and adding to their lists each year a task that could be beyond poor performing clubs.Nothing will change much next season except the Dees unbeatable with an influx of good players and those middle of the road clubs less competative

There is going to be a bigger gap between top and bottom teams. The league had voted in a system and kept it for 1 year! If a certain team doesnt get done for breaking the new rule our league is even weaker than i thought they were! Blind freddy can see it but nothing will happen!

Who is coaching Wallarooo and Kadina this year?
Why did Norsworthy go to Moonta and is Chris Mclean and the ruckman going as well.
I though Nelson had done a good job but by the sounds of it the families got rid of him to get their kids a game.
Bute did the right thing by not signing O'Connor he would have sent them bust with his big spending ways to get success.
Not sure if giving all the clubs 13 points will even out the competition and it goes against the principle of the salary crap as now more players will come into the league and more under table deals done so the big towns will benefit and the little ones struggle to be competitive and stay viable.
How can the Board make this decision without the clubs having a vote.
Only hope for the salary cap to work was to reduce the points and therefore have less players able to prostitute themselves to the clubs.
