That course is in cracking nick, kudos to the staff there. Probably the best 9 hole course going these days, better than penfield now i think.

Thanks benny, to be honest though its still not living up to its potential. Its been a truck load of hard work from where we where about 2 years ago after the devastating disease outbreak on the greens

Yep, one of life's simple pleasures is playing a mid-week round when the course is quiet, and every other sucker is at work.

Played Gawler front 9 on Saturday...

Started well, fell away late...

Played with 2 blokes I hadn't met before, and while they were nice, they felt rushed by the groups behind us, kinda put a bit of pressure on me and my game went backwards.

Gotta play with mates or pop out on a quiet afternoon

I gave it a few swings out in the backyard, but looking forward to testing out on course in the very near future

Played my first round in 9 months today- a last minute round and had to go round in Sneans at Marion. Shot a 43. Apart from being hot as **** and smelling like a wombat I'm thrilled with the 9.

And 3 putting 7... and chipping the ball 4 feet on 9 instead of the 10m required
