Finnigan....Finnigan.....

The judge delays handing down the verdict on Monday morning without reasoning, it was meant to be yesterday, he delays it until next Tuesday.

By some stroke of luck tomorrow marks the day that Finnigan becomes eligible for life time parliamentary pension, I am led to understand.

loses the position, but what about that nice little pension he is now eligible for after all these unexplained and totally unwarranted delays in handing down the verdict?

it reeks of being looked after.

He surrenders his parliamentary position if convicted of an offence with potential penalty over a certain sentence (2 years I think because i cant find the legislation)
I checked the superannuation legislation and I can't see where the timing of the decision affects his entitlements (ie) waiting that extra week as Booney suggested, and I cant see where he will lose his super

My understanding is his current position will be lost but his pension privileges will remain.

Also, don't ever play cards with the bloke. How's his completely expressionless face in almost every image or footage you've seen of him?
