Australian wickets have become roads of late and that suits the aussies as they use their faster bowlers plus their batsmen are great when there Is no seam or spin. But golly it equals some dull cricket and doesn't help the future of test cricket.

Every country now doctoring their pitches for a huge home ground advantage, unfortunately the admins cant see it and is one of the major reasons Test Cricket is heading to a very quick death, unless something is done to bring it back to an equal playing field test cricket is doomed

Different pitch styles is one reason i love test cricket.

agree to a point, like to see some juice in the pitch day 1 of a test match and then settle down just doesnt seem to happen in some countries

Agree and to be honest i would rather see a pitch that favours the bowlers and maybe sees scores of 200-250 than see one that gives the batsmen the edge and sees scores of 400-500

Yeah needs to be a bit of something in it for the bowlers.

Instead of complaining about the pitch perhaps the heat should be applied more to the pathetic opponents. I would guarantee NZ wouldn't be 1/330 had they won the toss. The bowlers have served up garbage and havnt bowled enough wicket taking deliveries, combine that with terrible captaincy and its little wonder the score is like it is.

Yeah fair point Jim, but I just have a chuckle at how the aussies are so good on bouncy wickets with no movement but then a little bit of movement there terrible. Doesn't help playing on these pitches all the time. Warner is a freak though.

Guptil of all bowlers actually generating some turn and bounce. A couple of good deliveries in that last over.

WA has a habit of producing memorable Innings

Roy Fredericks from the West Indies 170 odd from memory

Barry Richards 300 odd for SA in a shield game

Doug Walters 100 in a session

Adam Gilchrist that power innings

Dave Warner today

Am sure there is probably a heap i have missed that they are the ones that stick in my mind
