Very active?
Yes as every year this is a busy period for review of coaches ,players , admin and general governance of the club.

With Bazz on board he has been very active meeting with the squad one on one and also been part of review of current and potential coaches.

As for playing group the boys are all on board from 2015 with some quality 0 point lads returning .

OME I believe you lads will enter the world of points and will not be able to sell any ? (didn't the delegates vote to share your votes to the clubs ;) )

Hear they outbid Noarlunga for Iljescen from Victor (didn't come cheap), Hodge returning for a healthy pay packet and Loveridge from Lonsdale was the other one I heard. Should be right around the mark the Emus.

So The Emus finally spending some money. Hodge, Iljesen and Loveridge will be good ins. Lawrie at Valleys is a good get but must be their Marquee player cos i heard Flaggies went after him hard and offered him $600. Is NPG coming back too??

Christies have added some much needed height by getting Neil Reeve back as well as Nobes from Hackham. Also highly likely to get Benn Crate back as well.

Good get for Flaggies. Makes for a pretty potent forward line and I'm sure there would have been a few clubs trying to tempt him away.

Teams that play each other twice:

1 Reynella - BDOS, Flagstaff, Noarlunga, Christies, M/Vale

2 BDOS - Reynella, Flagstaff, Noarlunga, Christies, MVP

3 Flagstaff - Reynella, BDOS, Noarlunga, M/Vale, H/Valley

4 Noarlunga - Reynella, BDOS, Flagstaff, MVP, Porties

5 Christies - Reynella, BDOS, H/Valley, Porties, Cove

6 MVP - BDOS, Noarlunga, M/Vale, Cove, Hackham

7 M/Vale - Reynella, Flagstaff, MVP, Marion, Hackham

8 H/Valley - Flagstaff, Christies, Porties, Marion, OSB

9 Porties - Noarlunga, Christies, H/Valley, Hackham, Aldinga

10 Cove - Christies, MVP, Marion, OSB, Aldinga

11 Marion - M/Vale, H/Valley, Cove, OSB, Aldinga

12 Hackham - MVP, M/Vale, Porties, OSB, Aldinga

13 OSB - H/Valley, Cove, Marion, Hackham, Aldinga

14 Aldinga - Porties, Cove, Marion, Hackham, OSB

Pretty standard, top few play each other twice, bottom few play each other twice and the middle is where any conjecture can be.

Should be a good comp down there this year with no byes. Is anyone unhappy that Edwardstown left.

Given there's not one post to that effect I assume not. Had they been a part of the junior comp that would have been a different matter. Still have our problems with not all clubs able to field all their junior sides, but hopefully this may change and most clubs are putting in the effort to try and get this happening. Completely screws up the day with teams all over the place, but at least one of those issues is now solved.

Yeah that's the only downfall with HFL div 2. Could have been avoided last year but a last minute reprieve for Sedan buggered it. Pretty sure they were told last year that if they cant field juniors this year then they have to play div 3 so will wait & see.

Some likely thoroughbreds are rounding the turn and heading for the SFL line it seems for 2016. To early for names as yet .... But plenty of jockeys trying to stitch up their ride in 2016.
Is there a clearances link for 2016 as yet? SFL site has not updated.

Speaking of Cove... Will be interesting to see how they go with their new A Grade Coach and also the new B Grade coach - who hasn't coached anywhere before... Not often a Club would overhaul the entire senior coaching panel, but a clean slate might be just what they need!

A bit of movement from McLaren Vale to Reynella...

Will any others follow Gary Cameron to the Emus? Or any Willunga crew heading to the Shoes to be with Pilmore?

You're way off the mark with talk of players going from McLaren to Fly Park so the grape growers can relax. BUT some big names have already signed on - ex Willunga and Onkas Full Forward Matt Guitink and ex CLG mid Chad Francis. A couple of handy premiership players will be back after a year off - Jack Guy and Brenton Tilly. It looks like there is also another gun who has signed on. This one should create some interesting banter on here once revealed - GUN SFL premiership onballer who has been playing elsewhere for a while and has chosen to join the Flies for 2016
