Wow that's ordinary but after seeing a bit of GV a few weeks back I'm not surprised especially against Angaston who look the best side in the comp.
Saw your boys yesterday BR and they weren't much better.
What's with the low scores this year, seems like most rounds there is an ordinary score. Are the bowlers better or has the standard of batting dropped away?

Only been able to get out to 1 game so far this year because of work but it seems we are having trouble making enough runs to defend. Hopefully after Xmas I'll be able to sit back with the esky and probably get sunburnt (bloody being a ranga sux this time of year)

Days must be curating beauty's. Seams early and then flattens out after 3pm ;)

Was on probably our worst deck but still its not a 37 deck. We pretty much got to 3/120 in reply before losing 3 wickets just before the declaration came. Id expect GV to bat out the day next week, they cant be that bad again

I see Souths were 6/26 and then batted the day out ending only 8 down. Pretty good effort

Fantastic effort by Brodie " The better " Barker and our lower order.
Top order must start to score the runs. 230 to many for Lyndoch in my eyes.

I see a couple of teams played players from the jets over the weekend, Not too many stood out the way they should or expected too.

Wins before christmas usually the key, however i'd expect Freeling to play finals still and i do think we can play finals - Time will see.

So if you expect yourselves and Freeling to play finals, given that Ango and Kapunda are already miles in front are you saying Sandy Creek will miss out?

I'd expect Sandy to play finals Day's. Plenty of cricket to be played yet.
Wait and see what the new year brings.

Can I detect a bit of tension between days and slowey??
Surely not.

Still a long way in season to go, GV are likely to have a run of wins at some point and don't be suprised if they finish 4th

A really disappointing start for the bulls. I haven't been around much but have seen and spoken to a few of the boys. Id say some runs out of the top order is what is needed. The outright loss in a day against kapunda was just a team of kids. I spoke to the boys after Saturday trying to find out how on earth we only made 38, apparently the pitch was up and down but certainly not to blame. A combination of poor batting and good bowling was the major factor. Hopefully the boys will play with a bit more fight this weekend. We get a few back next week which may help. We have always been slow starters although this year has been really bad so far. We have also played ango twice, kapunda, freeling and south who everyone seems to be tipping as the top 4 teams.

At the moment it is a case of cleaning up at Freeling and rebuilding. Couple of players lost houses. Cricket really doesn't matter at the moment

BR, are Freeling going to play today? If so, gutsy effort after some of the stories I've heard. One in particular that relates to the cricket side.

I just read that Freeling won't be playing.
Neither are Nuri's senior sides.

Bigger things to worry about.
My thoughts are with all of those doing it tough right now.

Hadn't heard about Nuri not playing but Freeling and GV sides not playing. More important things than crickey at the moment
