It was! But I had the first two into each other for wins, so got nada, then Typhoon Jolie straight out, both for my syndicate. The others, I had just for myself ;-)

Been looking at a free tipping service (more like a forum) a bit of late, so finally gave them a little test today .. Backed both of their Sandown selections for $10 each, and multied them for $5. Both saluted, and the $25 returned $345.

Of course I didn't see their other spruik which also saluted and paid $71/12.50 Top Tote ($80 fixed available this morning).

Obviously I managed to jump in on what turned out to be a good day, but will keep following and if they can produce some reasonable results I'll start chucking them up here in case anyone's interested.

Wouldn't expect too many days like this, given the wounded posters that had missed the action/gravy for the day, but will chuck a few out and see how we go.

At this stage it looks as though their only tip for the day is VR5-10 each way. They seem to have a real love affair for the Weir/Yendall combination, and why not I guess. Was $11 this morning, now $8 with Sportsbet. Will report back with any others should they surface.

EDIT: Theyve added a couple at Albury now

R2-14 ($6 on Sportsbet)
R4-2 ($16 on Crownbet)

4th, 2nd, and a "should run passed any day now".

Had a feeling they might have used a fair whack of their luck yesterday.

Escape the Rain was nominated for Warranambool yesterday but had a boil on her neck which needed treatment so they decided to give her a 900m jump out down the back straight at Ballarat to keep her ticking along. She's the one in the Yellow. There is no winning post, just a Sportsbet sign where the pull up. Likely to go to Stawell on 12th or Echuca on the 17th over a little bit more ground.

One of the worst falls I've ever seen in the Mudgee Cup. At least 1 horse dead, 3 jockeys in some trouble.

Somehow, all 7 jockeys have been cleared of any serious injury. Most have some sort of injury. 2 horses gone.

My mates 2 horse's are back lads:

Ilovewhatsebrings (4th) 26/11 @1200m and is looking for 1800m+ as she's from Crimson Sekura the bonny mare from Perth who loved 2000m+ (god bless her). this is a SERIOUS HORSE and it will pay to follow it. will end up in Victoria at some stage.

Unspun first up fresh is a E/W bet this week and will be better for the run, will pay too follow and if P. Gatt rides at any time get on.

Escape the Rain goes around tomorrow over 1300m
Stawell 1#8.
She's around the $7-$8 mark.
