I dont have a problem with it as long as the clubs can stand on their own two feet and not be a drain on the AFL.
I think the interest level will be fairly low hence why the games will be curtain raisers not stand alone games.
I personally wouldn't attend or watch but each to their own

They still dob it beyond 50, the first game I ever umpired of it I thought it would be a walk in the park, it was my fourth game for the day and I had a sore hammy before it started, a lace out pass from the centre to leading forward who turned and dobbed it from the arc made me realise otherwise.

Just saw on the afl app that the Crows and NT are going to do a joint bid amd to split up the home games between both locations.

Its also in response to Port annoucing Erin Phillips as there first player.

You'd think she couldn't be real keen if she wouldn't play for whoever gets the gig. Can't think the talk is hurting though and if it gets more women interested then the game just gets stronger.

Reckon regardless of what names the AFL manage to get committing, they'll go with the bid with the widest appeal.

That would have to be Port, they have a far younger demographic of supporter and are more likely to get behind a women's team

I think you are right but that's why the Crows would of approached the NT. A joint bid would be far more appealing to the AFL plus the AFL probably see the Crows as having the better finances to fund it.

Crows all over the Aboriginal angle that the NT brings, thats what will appeal to the AFL

Still will only be one SA team. Regardless of who wastes more time trying to convince the Afl.
