I see that Jeparit-Rainbow Football Club have announced the signing of Sam Cranna on their web page along with Luke Murphy and Sean Bazard from Div 2. Whats happening over their in Demon land? Cranna will be a huge loss

Could be that there major sponsor isn't available any more. Perhaps that's why Running Defender is heading South for the winter

If Echunga have lost Cranna that is a massive loss!!!
They will need to find a ruck replacement.
Any other player movements??

More movements at Hahndorf LTF. Past junior Shane Matsen returning from Sturt. A very talented lad. Thinks looking very rosey for your pies

Cranna is a massive out, we played them last year without Cranna and they were a lot worse (We only just beat them but we beat them which is saying something). To go with Harland, liston, Lindsay and a few others gone it may be a long year if they stay up.

Echunga FC gone into budget control with their new coaching appointment? Maybe needing the $$ to replace the stream of players apparently jumping ship. Going to be a tough year.

Must have indeed. Dont think the salary cap comes into vic footy until the following year and have heard when it does restrictions could still be double that of what is allowed in south australia. Expect to see quality s.a footballers on vic teams radars regularly in the future if that turns out yo be true

I wouldn't be getting 2 carried away if I was a Vic country footy club and start chasing players. Nothing will stop the players in SA getting the same $$$$ in the future as they have in the past. It's nothing more than huff and puff and we will blow your house down. Players are still leaving the city clubs. Nothing has changed in 2016 and nothing will change in the future, no matter how hard they try and protect the two city comps.

Have heard Onka Valley night have signed Rhys O'Keeffe from North Adelaide. Have also heard Glenelg were chasing him so not sure of its current status. Would suggest Glenelg probably need some players after 3 walked out last week.

They'd all have to take big pay cuts from what TV were previously paying them if they want to fit under the SACFL salary cap.
