Blackfriars OS - unlucky not to at least make the GF last year, lack of depth cost them in the finals. There top 5 players is as good as any
CBC - Need to start the year well, started 2015 poorly and missed the double chance, have recruited well from all reports
Lockleys - Zedman has been here before, bringing clg from 6 to 5 so knows whats required, I'm sure he has recruited well, lots of quality ex demon lads running around elsewhere that I wouldn't be surprised if they returned.
Glenunga - The locals wouldn't of taken the relegation well, buss is a quality in and a zero pointer along with burke. Believe there may be some lads from Whyalla joining.
Hectoville - Have not heard much about the hounds, expect them to be very competitive, have strong juniors coming through

Smithfield - quality team for 2 years now, expect more players to return
Rosewater - on paper the always look the goods, but seem to always be rumoured to be unsettled. succesful coach who will no doubt bring more players.
Pulteney - weren't far off the pace last year, haven't heard much in the way of recruits, but a similar team to last year should see them avoid relegation
Greenacres - Have heard they have picked up a few, but a few quality outs that will weaken them, will be fighting to stay in div 5
Elizabeth - have heard allot of players leaving the eagles

Two quite poor finals performances cost us in the end Scottroo. Had the players to pick from, no depth excuses.

People can talk up smithfields chances all they want. As yes we've won back to back flags but a step up into div 5, all recruits have fallen through and no big men after bellman retiring and wanganeen moving on. I dare say its gonna be a long year. Looking forward to it.

Wanganeen is a big loss. Still have a number of very handy players though, think Smithfield will remain competitive if they can find a suitable ruck replacement for Bellman.

From what I seen down at the snake pit there look pretty good for this time of year, chatting with thommo he is happy were there at and seems quietly confident going into the season as they should, if Webber comes back in just adds to the list great set of hands on him and he will always hit the score board.. Think they will surprise in div 5.
