In 24 hours we will know if we are still a genuine championship contender. Fingers crossed for Jerome.

Great news for Randle, no structural damage just bruising and swelling.

Awesome news, hope to see him back soon. Doubt he'll play breakers on Wednesday. But at least we have home for the playoffs yay!

Pretty much the best possible outcome. Be interesting to see if he's available Friday night. Surely you'd rest him for Wednesday.

1 game should be enough and if it's Wednesday night it's pretty much curtains for the breakers. If we win Wednesday don't we jump to 3rd?

I'm glad he hasn't done his knee but we're still going to be up against it just to make the playoffs without him and we have four games to go.

Melbourne 17-8
Perth 16-9
Illawarra 15-10
Adelaide 14-10

New Zealand 12-12
Cairns 11-14
Townsville 9-16
Sydney 5-20

It's here in Adelaide but yeah as long as they don't beat us by more than about 15 points I think it is we will have the season series split over them so if we finish with identical records we would go ahead of them.

I haven't checked but I think the Breakers play Melb twice more yet still?

It was interesting Saturday night. Illawarra looked lost at Sea when Jerome went off. Sixers just went with them and then turned up the heat for 2 minutes and it was easily enough. It was almost like the Hawks based their entire game plan on stopping Randall with no plan B. Joey completely outfoxed Bevredge. If the refs weren't completely useless then it would have been a far bigger result. Thinking of going Wednesday.

From the JR Facebook page:

"Two days ago I suffered a scary injury during a game; pain I never felt before wondering is this it, is this what it'll be for my career? Mind wondering, what's next, how serious is it, how long will I be out, why did this happen....etc. couldn't sleep and anxious to know the results. All I can say is im thankful to God it was none of that, no ACL,MCL, PCL no structural damage, all soft tissue intact and I'll be out for two weeks. Didn't want to let my team down in that way and after that incident I needed to not think about myself and be there for my teammates because they needed me even though I wasn't playing and I needed that support as well. Thank you to all the Adelaide fans who didn't turn there backs and still supported me through that scary moment. Much love and respect for the city, our team is real with Jerome Randle or without because of our passion and heart, and we have players who will step up during my absence and take care of business. Good teams don't fold under pressure, they make adjustments. 36ers ARE COMING!!!!!!!!!!"

We were pathetic last night, no leadership shown out there at all. The series split may well and truly come back to bite us.

Even without Randle, a loss like that at home is beyond is a disgrace. The only two who looked like they were up for it were Walker and Creek. It's seriously time Adam Gibson steps up and earns his money.
