Im not a fan of GWS, although I did appreciate them enabling Port to get Wingard & Hombsch.

I have respect for them after their persistence from bouncing back from the drubbings they copped early in their formative years.

They were always going to improve given the concessions they received.

They were still a bunch of kids and hasbeens getting pummeled each week, players like Dylan Shiel have really blossomed from it.

A team that isn't your own but like to see chalk up a few wins.

I'm not a real parochial supporter so there's a few teams under this umbrella for me.

I have a few sides I take an interest in, although moreso when there's $$ invested and I can be pretty fickle under those circumstances lol

If you dont have at least a couple of other teams that you like to watch and see win, you arent a true AFL fan, more just a fan of your club, imo.

Personally I also like GWS, reckon they always have a crack. You could say the same about the Dogs too.

Yeah, the Dogs really impressed me last season, I love watching Macrae play, nothing better than seeing a bunch of kids having a red hot go.

**** GWS and Gold Coast. They've lowered the standard of the league and prevented bottom teams from getting up and middle of the ladder to lower eight sides from gaining on Hawthorn, Freo and Sydney. My '2nd Favourite' teams are Melbourne and the Bulldogs.

I might be in the minority here, but I also think actively barracking against another team is ridiculous too. I just wanna see my team win, and I dont really care about other teams - other than that they play a good brand of footy when I randomly watch a game.

In fact I might be one of the few crows supporters that would also like to see port do well - Imagine how sweet it would be to beat port in a grand final, i would rather that than them finishing bottom

This is the same as barracking for other teams. You can't barrack for one team without being against who they are opposing.

rubbish. I can barrack for my team, and hope they win against all other teams, but in games not involving the crows Im not really fussed who wins or loses, as long as it is a good game. Hence why i enjoyed watching the dogs and gws last year, Freo not so much

Rubbish x2. If Adelaide are sitting 5th and the team sitting 4th looks like losing that week, even if it is the Bulldogs, you're going to hope they lose, regardless of how attractive they are to watch.

No wonder the biggest secret at West Lakes is what Mavis puts in her apricot slice.

Hoping port loses because it benefits Adelaide is different to hoping the power lose because they are a bunch of cnts.

Their supporters on the other hand...
