Finch Faulkner and NCN also injured. Haven't heard how bad richardsons injury is but it seems like they weren't picking him anyway

Wont make the quarter finals. We seem to be the only country who stuffs up selection. Its a different game and one-day / test form doesnt matter. Players dont take it seriously anyway. Cricket Australia seem more concerned with have a good BBL

Maxwell: The gift that keeps on giving.
NCN: I'd love to see what's on his phone.
Faulkner: Broken and has lost his mojo.
Finch: Horribly out of form.
Tye: I'm not sold, got taken to the cleaners when it mattered most by a dude who just came to the wicket.

We've always been a nation that picks reputations over form, I have genuine like for NCN but really?

AUSTRALIA'S WORLD T20 SQUAD: Steve Smith (c), David Warner (vc), Ashton Agar, Nathan Coulter-Nile, James Faulkner, Aaron Finch, John Hastings, Josh Hazlewood, Usman Khawaja, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Peter Nevill, Andrew Tye, Shane Watson, Adam Zampa

Not sure who Lynn replaces though spargo. And as others have said, he was pretty suspect against spin.

He would have been behind smarsh anyway and they didn't even pick him.

The interesting one is NCN AGAIN. Not sure whose wang he has sucked to keep getting picked whilst injured. Him getting picked over Kane Richardson is terrible.

New West Wales with a few invitational Victorians.

bennymacca wrote:Agar over Boyce is another interesting one. They were never going to pick Lyon after the Indians smashed him everywhere but I though Boyce would play. Guess agars batting and fielding counted for something

I think it's more Zampa over Boyce and that's fair enough, it's one or the other. Agar as a spinning allrounder will be handy.

Agar might be handy with the bat but I'm not sold on his ability with the ball at international level.

BBL form obviously has no bearing on selection anyway.

NCN selection is amazingly bad, don;t mind Agar but why wasn't he given a chance to earn his spot int he recent international series? It seems Head and Lynn were given the chance to fail. While Lynn might be suspect in India there are a few players in that squad that haven't proven themselves over there and he has the x factor that could win you the tourney.

We will struggle, again.

I didn't see Head as a failure, got a dodgy LBW against him and then hit 26 off 19 late in an innings.

Agree, but the selectors obviously did, or they simply rewarded BBL performance with no intention of picking them for the WC.

Almost seems as though the WC squad was picked 3 months ago.

Might not even be on tv yet. Fox and free to air are ruling out paying huge amounts for it.

Thats what happens when the ICC is controlled by whatever the BCCI want

Star Sports bought the worldwide rights to the Cup and want a ridiculous amount of money from whoever wants to use their feed.
