Interesting to see they still haven't listed the sides that played in their Bs and Ds. I wonder what they are trying to hide......

Disgusting from the turf that they haven't overturned these results.

I'm sure they will, it's a disgrace if they don't.

Apparently they asked for and received permission to forfeit their LOA team prior to Saturday.
Something to do with them not have A, B, C Grades etc but having teams that are picked independant of each other

I counted at least 6 different players that have played at least one game in both LOA and LOB teams, so I don't buy the "independant" theory

Agreed. They are pushing the ATCA around and the CEO is allowing it.
They have just posted their LO4 side and seems they've done it there too.
G Bhatt has played 9 LO1 games (including the last 8 in a row) then all of a sudden showed up in LO4 this week...

A few of the Pooraka boys are spitting chips about it on facebook.

Modbury won but should've been deducted 6 runs for a slow over rate which would've seen Pooraka win.
Only info passed on via someone that was there.

What a bunch of sooks.

Umpires didn't deduct time for a lost ball (6 minutes) in about the 6th over. Modbury were given the ball Pooraka had use that was 20 overs old. DIdn't complain.

Pooraka batted like millionaires on a tough deck, got them self in trouble and played for the time penalty. The last few batsmen all took their 90 seconds and then some to face up. The number 11 was appealed against by the Modbury side for timed out, the umpires (probably to their credit in all honesty) agreed the time was up but didn't give him out in the spirit of the game.

They complained about the quality of the lights (it was their oval) and claimed they didn't care if they won and it wasn't their full strength team (looking at mycricket, I can't work out who was missing). They sledged Modbury's guest player from ball one and sledged hard. Yet as soon as the game finished, they bailed up the umpires and complained.

The league's biggest wage bill clearly doesn't guarantee success. Undefeated in A1, pantsed by a side who wasn't even in the top 4 of A3. That's embarrassing.

Don't worry you should have seen the Pooraka boys sook when they lost to a PDCA side in a twenty twenty comp

We also heard the we didn't care and not full strength side which it's wasn't but what u don't want us to do not clap a wicket or say nice shot to a six we hit

We only played against who showed up it wasn't our fault

Good post Tangles, however a couple of points.

Hardly seems like Modbury were completely innocent in this one. Appealing for timed out isn't the greatest move.

145 vs 142 is hardly being 'pantsed'.
Also, as for the A3 call, the 74 runs and 3/24 from your A-grade district / premier league player probably had a slight impact on the match.

Should be a good game on March 6th, might even make the effort to head along.

Appealing for timed out with an over rate penalty hanging over your head after go-slow tactics from the opposition sounds fairly reasonable to me to be honest..

A2 = Watson

Hardly your fault if they underestimated you. Bit of niggle is fine, but you should always pay the opposition some respect. Maybe they don't get paid for losses?
