Don't have to worry about running as much when you're hitting the ball as well as he is at the moment. Finding the boundary with ease.

Fair knock by Khawaja. Came in at 2/5 on a raging seamer. Gone on to pass 100. Thats a real fine knock.

I reckon Khawaja's career is taking a very similar path to Hayden.
Didnt have the confidence at Test level to start with, had a spell in the shield comp and came back with confidence and arguably the best batsman in the world.

2 things I find hugely humorous like normal on this forum.

Warner hits that for 6 you all call him a hero he gets out and his a 'spud'
And the No-Ball, Reverse the sides. If that was against Aust. Minimum of 6 pages of tears.

Happens on every sports forum everywhere in the world

I think only one person called Warner a spud and others commented it was a shit shot which it was by virtue of him getting out to it

When that player is dismissed playing that shot its a loose shot-too early to play that shot-etc

David Warner averages over 50 playing test cricket playing the way he knows best, by being ultra attacking

That same shot also brings him a lot of runs
A case of risk for reward
Right now in his career the risk is working for him

Yep.

Are we better off picking another batsman at 6?
Does Marsh's value as a bowler trump this?

I think in our current state a batting all-rounder is the preferred choice. However, if Nevill can develop himself into a very solid wicket keeper/batsman then we could have the luxury of picking an extra bowling option perhaps.

Personally I would prefer Nevill bat at 7 because the 6 above him are performing.
