Think they need a spinner on Bay Oval, so Andrews plays ahead of Valente.

Richo out for season with back injury.

Think they will leave batters alone, Alex Keath would play if made a change as he went to Perth as back up.

They will be hoping Cosi finally due!! And Siddons backed in Weatherald before game (even though got a pair), so no change I think.

Good to see the young skipper stand up under adversity. He's been battling, at best, since the Big Buck finished and he needed to dig in here to give his team a shot, he did.

Excellent for the lad, great for his team and might be one innings he looks back on in years to come.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

No doubt about it - whenever I right off the redbacks they get up & win. Then again whenever I am confident about their chances, they stuff it up!

Very good season by the Babybacks to date

IS THIS RIGHT ?
What about this
WA keep QL outrightless
VI v NS outrightless
SA beats TA outright
Depending on bonus points , we could have a final at Glenelg Oval !

Just beaten a team with probably the best form of any player in the country, Voges, and a highly regarded Shield players Marsh, Klinger and Bandcroft. Great win without first choice players Ferg, Zampa and Richardson.

Also played a bowler short most of the game

Was very happily surprised to look at the scorecard after work today and see we got the chocolates! I've been critical of Head at times but only because I knew he was capable of these types of innings, hopefully this is a turning point for him and he just goes from strength to strength

Highly unlikely we would host a final as a draw gets teams 1 point so we would have to better the Vics bonus points to have any chance. I would think there will be a result in that game anyway.

I've just watched the highlights with no commentary. Did anyone else think that one of the WA bowlers has a suspect action. It is hard to tell from front on but I thought that his action looked dubious to say the least.

Deserved victory by SA. Their bowlers (minus Nick Benton in the 2nd innings too) had our measure all game.

Makes sense or cents for this game to go the full 4 days for the financially crippled Glenelg Football Club
A flatish deck would help get a full duration

There are 2 other games at the Gabba and the MCG
Im tipping result pitches being prepared

Glenelg decks in the past have usually been good batting decks
If the Glenelg curator has too much pride[and rightly so] , then give him annual leave
Then get Dedja and or Ambays to prepare the deck
As stupid as that sounds, it might probably be the best chance to get maximum points in this game

This is a big problem.. just not sure it allows enough for the bowlers to find 20+ wickets for the match.. would rely on declarations, and playing TAS why would they be keen to declare?

That was my point, Glenelg pitch doesn't produce outright results which is what we need to play in the final

I think the curator down at Glenelg will be "encouraged" to leave a bit more grass on the wicket than usual. Big chance we'll play four quicks again IMO, especially because Mennie and Worrall will be getting sore after a long season. Need some support. Valente or Opie to come in.

Yes! That left armer Paris looks dodgy to me.
