OK - it's not something I have much interest in - so I am not sure where the astrological year "officially" starts. I had just read that somewhere. :D

Edit - But it got me curious - which is easy to do:

A traditional mnemonic:
The Ram, the Bull, the Heavenly Twins,
And next the Crab, the Lion shines,
The Virgin and the Scales.
The Scorpion, Archer, and the Goat,
The Man who holds the Watering Pot,
And Fish with glittering scales.

So OK, if you accept that version starting from the northern Vernal equinox Cancer is 4th!
