That season would start around April? Great opportunity for Parish but bit of a loss for Mallala.

English League Cricket is usually Late April to early May start. Most Guys head off early April play a few friendly warm up games after they dust off the snow from the deck.....

Dropped in to check out the facilities at Angle Vale last night. Looks bloody good. Oval looked a treat - seemed a little smaller than others in our league which will make it tough for me to make the most of my leg speed out on the wings, but surface looks great. The oval runs from NW to SE which seemed a little odd - hardly a major issue. I was told the netball courts are a mile away, but they're probably 300 m from the oval - maybe a slightly larger distance from the oval than that at Two Wells. I didn't look too closely at the clubrooms but they look pretty flash too. My only concerns were the lack of shelter around the netball courts and the lack of play area or playground for kids. Overall, the place looks the goods. Playing there should be a hoot.

Can't wait, a great tradition the two clubs have started. We'll be missing a few in both grades but looking forward to a beer with the Mallala lads afterwards.

Chris Musolino looking a good fit for Virginia, found some touch in the last half of the Kilburn Trial.
Along with M.Lipari coming off the back flank (reminds me of a young M.young)
Virginia having 6 of starting 18 out with a comfortable win.
any news on all the other Trials ?
Scuba out.

All the talk of Angle Vale struggling for numbers would appear to be mistaken...

Mallala v Sth Gawler at Sth Gawler this Saturday, Mallala with a few missing due to cricket trip/work but with SD back will be a good hit out , interesting to see how teams manage players this year including maybe 2 trials games it will be 10 straight weeks of Football till the Association weekend.

I haven't looked at the program yet but is there a split round at all to give players a break?

Two wells vs renmark @ two wells. B grade starts at 12. A grade starts at 2. Two wells with only 5 out of the A grade so should be a good hit out.
