WA surely will beat QLD. At worst a draw, which should put SA in the final as away team to winner of VIC vs NSW. It's almost a certainty they're in the final isn't it?

Together with Qld not winning (lose or draw); Victoria don't score more than 301 in their first 100 overs of this innings and that match is a draw, then SA will get the home final

So, we hope for Victoria to dawdle as much as possible for both to happen

We are as good as in the final, just need the Vics and NSW to be a draw to host it. Still got a feeling that there will be a result in that game though, NSW with nothing to lose will probably set the Vics a very modest total to chase and back their bowlers in

I was grumpy with Nathan Lyon's innings but it may help our cause, for a draw. Cue sporting decorations.

Dear Redbacks,

Thanks for putting some consistency on the board and thrilling us with your performances at the pointy end of the season this year.
Whether we make the final or not, please don't think the job is done and sink again in 2016/17.
We care a lot.

Zartan's Live Ladder Update (think it's right - I lost my spreadsheet over night and couldn't remember all the BP's lol))

49.63 - SA
48.01 - VIC (-1.62)
46.66 - QLD (-2.97)
46.07 - NSW (-3.56)

Here's to hoping VIC and WA can bat most of the first session today and push for a draw.. with VIC ahead of NSW, and a spot in the final assured if QLD fail to win, you'd think they'd be satisfied with a draw instead of potentially losing to NSW and losing that finals spot.

Think those were points before the start of the matches and doesn't include current bonus points accumulated?
