Makes sense or cents for this game to go the full 4 days for the financially crippled Glenelg Football Club
A flatish deck would help get a full duration

There are 2 other games at the Gabba and the MCG
Im tipping result pitches being prepared

Glenelg decks in the past have usually been good batting decks
If the Glenelg curator has too much pride[and rightly so] , then give him annual leave
Then get Dedja and or Ambays to prepare the deck
As stupid as that sounds, it might probably be the best chance to get maximum points in this game

Over in 2 daze !

Tassie only have themselves to blame, win the toss and bat on a green deck. We thank them very much

I don't think the pitch was as bad as it appeared - after all the Redbacks were able to smack over 300 on it.. and on the same day TAS got rolled for 91, Head was over 100 at stumps..

There was a bit in it early, but credit to Sayers, he had that ball shaping both ways and with Worrall bowled the Redbacks into that position.

WA 380 v QLD 147 - lead by 233 runs at the change of innings.. strong position!

VIC 9/251 v NSW 341 - trail by 90 runs.. longer they bat and the closer they get to that total then the more chance of the game heading towards a draw, barring a sporting declaration.

Really can't see a draw coming from that game...

NSW 90 runs ahead with almost 2 full days left.

NSW need to win to make the final (home final) and VIC need to win to get a home final. So there will be a result IMO.

Yeah, Cooper's been smashing it at district level, 223 @ 37 thanks largely to his 64 & 49 in round 12.

I love the guy but he is not playing his best cricket.

But Vic only need a draw to make the final.. if they cant win the game, surely they'll look to bat out the game for a draw?

Agree. Vic have already grabbed 2 early wickets, so NSW effectively 2/98. Still think there is far too much time left to not be a result.
