Tweet from the Redbacks

Now that bonus points are wrapped up, here’s the final scenarios if QLD don't win:

VIC WIN = VIC v SA
NSW WIN = NSW V SA
DRAW = SA v VIC
July 11th 2012....

I remember when Gazza Lyon (the non shagging one) went to NSW there were members of this forum that dared to suggest the GOAT would not be an asset to the Blues. Well the great man scored 75 in the first dig and followed it up with three wickets when NSW bowled out the Vics. The GOAT could be sending your lot off to play in Sydney!

Go the Blues and Go the GOAT.

He won't be sending our lot off to play in Sydney!

He will most likely though be sending our lot off to play in Coffs Harbour (again). That is where NSW will host the Grand Final should they defeat Victoria as seems probable,

Who said GOAT wouldn't be an asset to NSW?
Surely no one was that stupid. Provide quotes to verify the veracity of this fact and so we can throw rocks, please.

Is the Shield Final going to be televised? (I'm assuming we'll be playing interstate.)

Slow going over in the other game as well - NSW 3/62, lead of 152 runs.. how many would they want before they declared? Surely no less than 250 on Traeger, and wouldn't want to give VIC a full day to chase that?

NSW 5/78 - lead by 168.. reckon that game is starting to fall in the VIC's favour..

Forgive my ignorance but if NSW at all win can SA still host the final?

Reckon I watched the shield final on fox, if not last season, the season before... Tassie won in a snore fest against NSW at Bellerieve.
