Christ lobbe is getting smashed by Hickey.

Port rely on to few but Gray and Wingard are incredible players.

Port looking good now.

I tell you what they wouldn't want an injury to Gray or Wingard though. Ebert has been super also. Looks as if Ryder may be a big loss if Lobbe plays like this.

And how many times does he look like he's going to cry when the umpire doesnt give him a free kick, can play but fast becoming the player with the face you most want to smash

He's a clear #1 in the afl's 'Smug **** with a punchable face' power rankings.

With blokes like Wingard and Thomas getting around the AFL need to step in before it ends up being like the soccer which everyone will admit is well over the top and a blight on the game

Good first term by the Lions, look a lot better than last year already with a number of players to return. Schache looks a player they can build s team around

I'm sure the Eagles will smash them in the end

These umpires need to go back to umpiring school and relearn how far 15 metres is. Too many times in this Eagles Lions game they've called not 15 play on and the ball has definitely travelled more than 15 metres.

I've enjoyed this game, Lions turnovers have killed them

I'm 8 from 8. At no point prior to this season starting did I think about putting 10 bucks on 9 from 9. And I'll get it, you watch. And then I won't get near it for the rest of the season when I do put money on it.

40 plus goals would do that. Dunno whether both coaches would agree!

Agree, he's right up there with Sam Mitchell and Bryce Gibbs
