Yep, wasn't pretty on either occasion. . the PNU lad who had to go and get stitched up later posted a photo to facebook advising our player that his other tooth that couldn't be located on the ground was still lodged in his head! Lesson learnt for our player, he still came out that night and just drank through a straw.. choppers are all fixed now and will be wearing a mouth guard next game..

The lad that broke his leg in the first 15 seconds of the B's has had surgery now and is walking on crutches but still in a bit of pain but was in good spirits once he got hold of that green whistle! was a weird feeling playing on after that.. his brother was out there at the time it happened too, went on to kick 1 goal 5.. Guess he has a decent excuse for being inaccurate.

PNU were great in helping out when it all happened.. so thanks to them.

Who was 33 for Portland? Looked like Jonathan Thurston. Can seriously play but yep think Portland will be in for a long year.

S/North were pretty good.

South Australia National Football League (SANFL) Prince Alfred OC Jolly, Hayden Denied 2016-04-13 2016-04-13

Surprised Glenelg are being difficult. Most SANFL clubs are generally pretty happy to give a local interchange permit once even their contracted players have made it clear they want to play elsewhere. Never really seen the point in holding a bloke to a contract who doesn't want to be there.

Just been informed he'll be good to go this week. Has been sorted with Glenelg today.

"The Glenelg Football Club wishes to advise that Luke Harder has been released from his playing contract, effective immediately. Harder has failed to meet the club’s off-field standards. The Club will make no further comment on the matter"

Good news for Unley, tad bitchy by the Bays.

It's worth checking out the Footy Budget's D1 predictions. By my count in their "who's in for a big year" they've listed at least three blokes who have left their respective clubs, have Unley as favourites for the flag and Salisbury North to finish last.

A different view to most.
