Live stream on youtube was great, be awesome if they could get that going for every game.

Great to see some Friday night footy, the past few weeks have been wasted opportunities.

Wasted footy opportunities,
like last week or next week if your club has a bye.
5 weekends during the season with no footy.
Believe it or not,
that's the SANFL for you.
Let's hope it gets fixed eventually.
Hopefully someone who cares will see the light = footy season means footy matches every weekend.

A one goal loss probably flattered us in the end. Norwood clearly better than us in the second half but didn't put us away. I fear a season of close losses coming up.

Norwood were very average last night, if Glenelg had a bit more polish they would have been well in front in the third. Although we were down to one on the bench, we were poor. The handball to kick ratio was atrocious all night and the game plan was one dimensional once again, lucky we had Wilsons pace back in the side. Poor efficiency in front of goal in the last almost cost us the game. Only three games in but definitely plenty of warning signs there for the club.

Plenty of credit to Glenelg though, they were hard at the footy and held their structure well. The Bays are definitely on the up and looked like they believe in themselves for the first time in a few years.

The reserves game was a cracker with both teams incredibly hard at the footy. The lead changed a few times in the last term until a late goal from Mitchell gave the Norwood the victory.

Geez Ben Nason is a tool, still weak at the footy, more interested in what the crowd is saying to him and happy to throw cheap shots out. Not standing out in reserves in footy just shows how far his footy has slid.

Very much agree with Norwood8's assessment of the game .. Was super impressed with the Bay's and their tenacity and felt at the game they really should have been 3-4 goals in front by 3/4 time. Thankfully it's only early doors because I have some concerns about how we're going about it.

Thought Norwood had a good last quarter considering we had only one on the bench, but nearly blew it with some poor kicking. Like above though we were probably a bit lucky to be so close at 3QT. Impressed with Glenelg.

Replay is currently on the SANFL home page. Might have a butcher's at it myself tonight, the 'legs head out this way in a couple of weeks.

Yep. Skills were average most of the night from both teams, however, the attack on the ball was great. Loved the ways the bays went about the game. Definitely on the improve.

Lucky it's not out there. Check out the umpiring, some absolute dead set shockers. A clear mark from Alleway, a couple of obvious push in the backs, high tackle in front of goal, Clint getting raped in the goal square and a few suspect decisions going to them and that was just in the first half. Those umpires need to be sacked. Having said all that, if you're good enough you win the game anyway. Looking forward to when we play them again later in the year at the bay.

The mark not paid to Alleway, if the one I'm thinking of (Parade end) was due to a touched off the boot call. Whenever you talk about the big fella, remember he also does plenty of things to give away a free that often doesn't get noticed/called either (not having a crack because I like the way he goes about it)

Was hoping to see more, but the Friday night game between these two sides last year, also on a dry night, got 3,234.

Probably increased crowd because people like yourself supported their grass roots SANFL club considering both the imposters had the bye, Can we then conclude that there is around about 500 Crows SANFL followers that also support Norwood and Glenelg, seems about right

So your bagging him for supporting his SANFL team?

Of course there are a few who support Norwood and Glenelg that are crows supporters as well.
