Sounds like a team desperate to win eh..

Only caught snippets of the last term, appears as though North had their chances.
SAFC- 60 years...
StKFC- 58 years..

Yes North had their chances and couldn't quite get it done.

Not enough goal scoring forwards for the roosters.
Had plenty of opportunities to score goals and win the game in the last quarter but could not deliver.

Heartbreaker for the Roosters in the end.
At the other end of the scale, a complete lack of heart by the Ravens kept North in it by the sounds.

2 sides, 2 different objectives.
One wants to win. Full stop.
The other, wants to rest players in case they're needed for a game in another league next week. Wants to try players in positions the team in the other league would like them to play. Is preparing a game plan to compliment. The team in the other league, etc. Winning or losing comes after the aforementioned points.
What the hell are they doing, PLAYING FOR THE SAME SET OF TWO PREMIERSHIP POINTS?

Ravens are an average outfit. There's a couple of really tall players who are about as useless as a hip pocket on a singlet. Would've sworn they played their first ever Australian rules match this afternoon. Perhaps some of their fans can confirm for me once the wild celebrations have died down at West Lakes.

Anyone got a crowd figure? I say less than a thousand. Reckon today be my last hurrah in watching these farcical 'matches'. I just can' t be f**ked anymore.

It looks as if the remainder of the season will see a dramatic fall in attendances.
Norwood on the slide won't help either, where to now for the SANFL competition.
How can they get so much wrong keeping supporters away from the game?

I've said it before. You must be M Rucci. Scarred for life by 1971 and 1972.

And don't come this caper that you are not old enough. You have to be to be that bitter about North.

Surely any sane Port supporter would prefer them to a manufactured team like the Crows.

Why not just say that in your 1st post? Is it just to get your post numbers up when someone inevitably asks who?

1398 the official crowd.
That includes the players and support staff for Sturt who played in the reserves.

Now, now, no need to stoop to personal attacks.

Can't you simply enjoy and take pride in your professionally paid, full-time trained reserves side's last gasp victory in game that they use for purely for development purposes over a bunch of lowly paid part-timers for what it is?

Certianly are some taller ravens players that should be playing DIV 4. Put a few injuries into that side and they will fall away pretty quick!
