Cougars the real deal? Solid win in the wet at moonta. Few injuries to key players from both sides I'm hearing though.

For the bloke that needs to keep the player payment under the cap, let’s hope Moonta's injured players are big names. ;)

Henry Daniel from the Cougars broke his leg apparently and Northsworthy from moonta with a collarbone? And also hearing Ramsey may have an extended period on the sidelines due to a staph infection in his toe??

I'm tipping my Eagle boys to get the job done....just!

Jack Barlow back this week, Jugger.
Hasn't been 100% confirmed but if he is going to play it's a great inclusion.
Bloke can play. Looking forward to watching the hitout.
Rumours of a guest player for the Southern Eagles flying in from the top end of Australia, any truth Juddernaught?
haha someone had to keep the barmen on his toes. Set up shop at the Kadina shed.
Not a bad spot to watch the game.

Even more wrong with Ardrossan is that they don't even appear on the Premiership Ladder in A and B grade

Maybe their ladder position has been made private, like the leagues clearance page...

Their outside players don't look fit, and doesn't help when their coach spits the dummy after losing and goes home the minute the final siren blows 2 weeks in a row now...

A bit of ordinary news I heard this morning, Ardrossan forward Alby Pierson suffered a injury and few weeks ago and might be finished from playing again, was told it was a calf injury and needed surgery, fingers crossed for the chap.

Terrible situation. Has had most of his calf muscle removed. Lucky to walk let alone run so no more football from what I have been told.
For someone in his prime, recently married, building a house, working and recently doing personal training, there are going to be some big challenges ahead. He's a positive lad and I'm confident he will push through this.

What sort of injury involves removing a calf muscle, if that's not probing too deeply into the matter?

He's put a fair bit on facebook about it. Basically a simple corky, blood clotted around the muscle and when the pain got too bad, had it checked but by this time no blood getting to the muscle and basically the muscle died. I'm not very good on medical terms but from a simple and common injury, a terrible result for the lad. Wishing him all the best in rehab.

How have the two vegans, Sean "Going Bald" Maher and Rick "Beefy" Stoyanoff been going for Southern Eagles.

I have heard Beefy has been referring to himself as THE WEAPON.

User well and truly on.

Nah, the Stoyanoff that plays at Virginia is his sister. Either his sister, or the Virginia Stoyanoff plays like a girl.

I watched Stoyanoff play at Kadina when i was down. Looked like a pretty handy player. Can roost a footy from 50m.
Seems to be in the best most weeks. Has bagged 15 from 8 games. Not a bad effort from a bloke that isn't key position.
