Crouch will be better for the run against GC
Thommo needs a rest
Douglas needs to be dropped and brought back for GWS as we need his pace

So his pace, is only an asset when playing GWS? Or does he run slower in Qld -

I'm sure you are a smart guy, work it out

He will run quicker after a rest?

Why drop B.Crouch?
Struggling for form,ok, but why not play him against a weak GC to find it.
Perfect chance to give Thompson a spell i would have thought.

Brad Crouch might as well pack his bags now.
If he isn't a better option moving forward then Thompson or Douglas.......... he might as well seek a trade at seasons end.

We'll have him at Carlton!

Zero preseason, no time on the park in '15, no preseason in '15. He's miles off the pace, surely the call to bring him back in was the wrong one? A month in SANFL to get some run in his legs and smash him at training. If they can't load him up now, when can they?

Teague admitted on the weekend they made a mistake after they rushed Brad back into the side after 1 dominate SANFL game. Wouldn’t surprise me if they give him 3 in the SANFL, plays before the bye, then has the week off to hit the ground running the 2nd half of the year.
At this point in time (regardless of your personal opinion on Thompson) he still is a quality inside midfielder.
Douglas is out of form and I wonder if M Crouch pulled up OK he might have been dropped. He does have plenty of credits in the bank but he would want to find some form this week!
Only thing I can think of with Van Berlo coming in is if he plays at half back/lock down backman which then releases Smith or Henderson to the wing/outside mid role to get some more outside footy and run. Can’t see him playing either of the Crouch’s roles in the midfield. Suspect Pykey will try something different this week!
