Talk on the national game

Whether its yesterday's list or the squads list. It's a very young list and people seem to forget that...

That bloke who wrote the review wasn't saying we were better, I believe it was more of a reference to our list..

Sydney's current average age is 23.22 years old...

Some experts had the swans missing the 8

We finished the year before about 3 games outside the 8 and at the start of the season were 30/1 to make the 8. We didn't win a game until round 4 and had a fair bit of luck to finish top as we should of dropped to 3rd in the last round but North and Carlton choked on the final day. Can't remember the exact number but think it was something like 8 or 9 players in the Finals who had never played in a final series before

Aliir Aliir will make his debut for the swans this week... Should be good to see how he goes

Reckon you'll win, I still think we're not playing that well and until we improve another 20-25% we'll be exposed by the top teams.
We need our best 22 out there & ATM we've got far too many injuries.

Heard a little (probably old news) rumour that we are going after Hurley? Anyone else heard this?

Yep, with Ted and Grundy nearing the end he would be a good replacement.
I don't think he is too keen to move out of Victoria and he would cost a mint.
I think he will stay with us to the end of next year or sign a new deal on big money

I do enjoy Horses press conferences

"I looked at the calendar this morning and it's still May, and we're one game off seventh."

Coach John Longmire laughed off talk his side is the one to beat for this year's flag.

Tippetts injury sounds nasty...the hamstring tendon behind the knee. "Significant" is what Horse used to describe it. Uphill battle to get him fit for finals I would think.
