I think about this...a lot.
But who would you want back, Q?
Of those who have left, only Heath Shaw has really gone on to provide much for their new club.

- Beams has been pretty much injured the whole time at Brisbane.
- Wellingham, I was never a fan of anyway. His hit on Simpson a few years back made him my most hated Pies player. Squibbed.
- O'Brien has been ok, but not brilliant at Melbourne.
- Dawes has done bugger all.
- Thomas is only finding his straps now at Carlton, but he's been injury-riddled. We got the best out of him.
- Seedsman remains as inconsistent with Adelaide as he had been with us.

Who's left who left? The rest have retired.

Wellingham was very good last season.
I disliked him before the Simpson hit.

Not sure why we were trying to play the link handball stuff on a slippery day?
Cute kicks didn't go well either.
Slamming handballs at blokes a metre away?
I found myself screaming at the tv....just fuggin kick it.
Cloke wasn't great either!

How were you when Pendles squibbed on that one on the wing and poked the toe at it, only to see Port run it straight through for an easy goal?

That was a shocker! Nearly threw my beer at the telly.
Jessie hitting the post from 15 metres was far worse though! That got the vocal cords a warm up.

Couldn't believe Pendlebury doing that. I reckon that's all about mindset and clearly he wasn't, or perhaps he knew his team wasn't, up for the challenge. Really out of character, perhaps it's why it stood out so much. White missing from 15....meh. Seen that before. ;)

Correct. Would be great to have most of Swan, Moore, Adams, Elliott, Fas, Williams, Ramsay, Brown etc in the side

Is there something wrong with our training regimes?
We've had a lot of players out with injury in 2014 and this year - quite a few hamstrings.

Collision injuries like Fas and Moore's cant be helped.
I think Adams has a history of hammy's doesn't he?
He's the only one from memory that has a soft tissue problem. The rest are just bad luck or collision injuries so I don't think we can put it down to our training regime.

Wouldn't surprise me if the D word comes up soon.
He's turned into a park footballer pretty quickly.

Who would take him on?
Still contracted for another year on $450-500k.
Collingwood would have to pay part of his wage to move him on or he just sits in the Ressies next year collecting a pay cheque

Most clubs you can put a premiership down to more than one senior coach. The Adelaide side of 1997 was basically recruited by Robert Shaw and coached by Blight. Clarkson at Hawthorn built that side, Malthouse with Collingwood another. But gee a lot have been recruited by one and made great by another. Which stage is Buckley? How many blokes have improved under him? Which blokes that might be a future premiership player has he seen something in? We've seen talented blokes slip through the system there, talented blokes leave and bit players poached. The remainder are either clinging onto reputation earned under Mick or opportunities gained because nobody else was there. Buckley to me looks like another to add to the long list of great players on the coaching scrapheap along with T. Watson, J. Hird, K. Bartlett and M. Voss.
