Its ok, next year Henley will go to D2, recruit players back, pump sides, run around every second week having huge nights at the club, you'll win a flag and the nursing will be done - back in D1 - nursing complete.

Actually PAOC have 6 teams and D7R are the 5th team not the 4th which makes their performance YTD quite incredible

We absolutely want our Cs and Ds playing Div 7, whether that's against A or B graders we don't care. They deserve to be at the level and we have every intention to play finals in both grades.

The only gripe I have is the SW situation who have been given a 'get out of jail free card', drop grades, not on merit, and then mirror the decisions they made which caused them to have to ask for help in the first place. It's just asking for a repeat of the situation and that is unfair on our C and D graders.

we? meaning you the committee, or do you speak for the average cgrader who isnt a terrific footballer, justs like to play on saturdays, does "he" absolutely want to pay your club money to play against some other clubs high talented agraders? is he getting his money worth and are you as a club providing your customer their moneys worth?

may it also be noted that Unley have only won 1 game since round 4. we how see how many more games you win by seasons end, and see how your enthusiasm to stay in div 7 rates fairs in august

let it also be noted that para hills will enter div 7 next year too and likely recall all their champs from earlier years and you'll be in the same merry go round again... this time time next year we will also rate your enthusiasm to stay in div 7 after 2 years of bs

You post a grim picture of Henley Marbles.

A graders who call themselves Henley people happy to take of for a small amount of extra cash
C & D graders who take off because they might not win on the weekend.

Surely, after 2 years in the C grade system, not playing A grade teams, this year you should've regathered a D grade team with footballers flocking to play against fellow C & D graders?

Its far from my backyard champ

We all know your mighty flag was won off the back of pumping cgraders

We all know that the following previous participants of div 7 all lost their dgrade for your survival...

# Broadview
# TTG - now restored by avoiding div 7 since
# Flinders Park
# Sacred Heart
# Henley

And what we are experiencing now is the almighty PNU party central of many recent years now shrinking away to become another div 7 victim, their participation rate would also certainly NOW be on the decline. Unley is coming for them too just cant see it yet

Falcon boys i feel your pain brothers youll be outta there soon. Lets hope

Maybe the difficulty in maintaining costs, player numbers etc. involved in sustaining 4x sides is the reason those clubs reduced to 3 teams - not who they were playing against.. :-?

Yes I speak for the C graders.

There are no highly talented players in C grade...with a couple of exceptions, obviously Wellington at SW is a very good player. Why do you keep running that same stupid line??

I will have the same gripe with Para Hills as I do with SW if they bring back the players that abandoned them. Players who left Para Hills this year and signed contracts and are paid players at other clubs should not be able to be cleared back to PH.

I think mr jetters is more jeered to making its club ego look so good rather than caring for the individual needs of your footballers (who are essentially your paying customers)

Youre in the mind set of wow look at us we got div 1 teams and now look how high our cgraders can get too. Our cgraders will be playing div 5 soon in your dreamland and your clubs ego will look super cool then wont it

On the other hand consider your paying customers (your players). As cgraders theyre just out to have fun on a Saturday arvo. Theyre not stars nobody really comes to see em play except mummy and grandma if theyre lucky.

They are simply just sporting people who invest their time and money into your club hoping you in return will provide a fun recreational experience for their afternoon

But then instead you come along and say we know what youd like as customers but our business ego is more important and we are going to force you the paying customer, to spend your afternoon playing the 1st tier players (agraders) of other clubs. We value your money but due to our more important ego your invested time & money will experience more shit times than good. Unfortunately we cannot offer you an equal playing field

Then as a business you wonder why participation rates begin to drop and you see your customers leaving (footballers) you will understand that the product you were selling was not appealling enough and cgrade footballers DO NOT want to play agraders

But you will learn this in time

Where are the stats to back this up champ?

Know plenty of people playing C grade at PNU & they're doing what they can to get better. From what I've heard they are also happy with the player progression coming from the C grade to the B grade as a result of higher quality oppositions they are facing.
PNU is certainly still party central, especially those running around in the C & D grade.

when one has no capacity to reply with anything competent to the argument he instead resorts to insults

to decimate the opposition with swear words with hope to bring the opposition down to his own level

but instead only highlighting his own inefficiencies as a result

you see what u did their champ
