Pretenders.
You can't lose to scrubbers like Carlton and the Saints and be flag favourites

The only people who have us as flag favs are the bookies.
The real flag favs are the Crows....

Great win! First against the Cats since 2010 finals. Been a bloody long time.

Our forward entries became a bit predicable after half time, but our ability to come from behind* on a couple of occasions and hold on was refreshing.

:D

Lastly the C7 obsession with "Patty" grew tiresome, but brought back memories of when he played in this city.

Thought Geelong were very stiff, umpires ripped them off big time, oh well, thems the breaks, thats football, we move on. ;)
Hawks will end the round on top and if no one else wants it, we'll take the premiership fav tag thanks :D

Saints had a decent run late with the umps but were on the other end of it earlier. That's footy.

I never professed to that as I bowled shit and got no wickets.
Luckily I turned into a keeper/opening batsman ;)

I lived by it, how else would slightly swinging left arm mediums get wickets!

Best commentary was in the third. "Geelong have had 8 shots from 7 entries"
Richo: that's better than a 100% conversion rate
5 seconds of silence.
Other commentator: " Richo, you can't have better than 100%"
Richo then argues for 2 minutes that Geelong did.

Mine didn't even slightly swing, my mate just assumed since I was over 6 foot I'd be a good fast bowler.
