If you kick the goal the game then goes back to the middle and the entire course of the rest of the match changes.... Where were those shots taken, were they forced wide, outside the corridor when taking those shots?

They were talking about score equity. So the equity of a kick for goal from the goalsquare is probably 5.9, the equity or a kick from 50m on the boundary is probably. So its a pretty accurate measure of the kick difficulty, but yeah you are right, the turnover is also important. not sure whether it takes that into account, probably not

Lol. U are bigger on the old reverse psychology than i am when it comes to Geelong. Have u picked the cats this year? I'm very confident we'll win this week.

Yeah, I have picked them this season, but we are too inconsistent to be confident about winning i believe.

I successfully picked Collingwood to beat us and for us to beat GWS. I don't see us beating North.

In 2015 only 2 times from 13 games did the team coming off the bye win. One of those was West Coast in the Prelim, this is according to Cam Mooney, havnt had the time to confirm but it does sound a bit odd.
Almost makes the Roos favourite tomorrow night, certainly cant use the Crows coming off the bye as an excuse.

Roos def Crows
Freo def Pies
GWS def Blues
Lions def Tigers
Cats def Saints
Hawks def Suns

Might have a few bucks on that multi

But what were the matchups? Would be more meaningful if there were a lot of upsets or a big trend in tight games but if it was Melbourne losing to Hawthorn for example then it's a bit of a misleading stat.

There has only been 5 occasions where a top 8 team has lost to a bottom 10 team

Geelong vs st Kilda, Carlton, Collingwood

Sydney vs Richmond (after the siren)
GWS vs Melbourne

Thought that was a pretty interesting stat as it highlights the gulf between the finals teams and the others.

I looked at that same thing before this latest weekend. Was 48-4 then, so 50-5 now? Does show a huge gulf and perhaps those odd wins might makes a difference to the order of the deckchairs on the titanic in the bottom 10.

Only 12 of the final 56 games this year will be contested between two top eight teams.

5 of them include north Melbourne.
Crows Bulldogs and GWS only have 2
