I was there, I stood at the bench all day, saw all incidents, spoke to our players and i guess I have my view of what I saw. As I mentioned, tough game, lots of niggle, EP were the better team, one bloke spat at us a couple of times - that's pretty much the end of it.

Eastern Park complaining about another side's strategy of intimidation. In a game played at Eastern Park of all places. Oh lawd.

All the boys are looking forward to coming up against them come finals time!

This is laughable. The 'cheap shots' were two legitimate contests, first two players diving at a marking contests and the second our bloke kept his feet your bloke dived at the ball. Both unfortunate footy collisions. Not sure it was quite the same the other way around when a late elbow resulted in one of our blokes going off and a 25m penalty nor the constant elbows from #10.

Either way a good, hard contest, EP were the better team on the day and deserved to win.

Not sure if you were at the same game. #7 kneed all three players, he came in on all three occasions and slid in with his knee connecting to the head. As stated one ended up with stitches to his cheek, another ruled out for the day with concussion and the the third left dazed and sitting on the bench for quite some time. Deliberate actions well only #7 would know. It was also clearly obvious to all that from the first bounce WOS had a plan of intimidation to put EP off their game in any way they could. Thankfully apart from a bit of push and shove EP held their resolve and played the much better football on the day.

Sounds pretty plausible...

I didn't think it was either, TWK ran in and threw a hand grenade, SD picked it up and tossed it back outside.

TWK just commented on a club, SD also commented on a club but then had a go at the coach of Kangarilla who just happens to be TWK. Each to their own I guess.

Cracka, TWK isnt the A grade coach.

It was good to see you on Saturday TWK.

Sounds like S Demon has sour grapes for his side losing on Saturday. HV was very undisciplined, the turning point of the game was when HV had a free kick in the middle and instead of getting up and taken the kick, did something silly and turned it over to kenilworth who scored a goal and tied the game up. A good coach would have dragged that player but didnt happen.

Why would 2 teams get relegated when it is normally 1?

Not sooking about it at all, I was just stating that another team come out and TRIED to intimidate us on our home ground but it back fired miserably because as soon as we fired back up and played the same way, Westminster all went into their shells and lost all the "hero" they had running through them at the start! I think that's hilarious to be honest.. As for number 7, any unbiased person at the ground would be able to tell you that at least 2-3 times he definitely had every intention of harming the other bloke in a dirty way!! One of the lads took a mark diving forward and as the mark was taken, literally 3 or 4 seconds later 7 come in front on kneed him straight in the face! He arrived at the contest so late it wasn't funny.. He was also seen throwing elbows and late punches on multiple occasions.. All good fun though, was a cracker game

It was a shocker, coach did try and drag player twice but he wouldn't come off. I nearly went out there and dragged him off myself by his ear.

On the basis that WOS #7 kneed a bloke in the face with every intention of harming the bloke in a dirty way 4 seconds after the mark was taken (just count 4 seconds out to yourself to see how long that actually is)... I would imagine a life ban would be in order. Especially considering it happened 2 or 3 times.

Thanks mate. It gets harder now, a lot harder when you had very limited talent to start with.... :D I would have over 300 up if it wasn't for work.

At the end of the day, whether it was 2 seconds or it was 4 seconds, he knew exactly what he was doing and for you blokes to come out with that mentality is disgusting!!!!! Not only did it back fire because all it did was fire is up even more + make us come back twice as hard, but you also had a long miserable drive home after coming back down to reality! Look forward to seeing you blokes at some stage come finals time though :)

Not sure where you got the sooking part from. Basically I said they had a plan that didn't work and why would you bring up rubbish about EP being a dirty team for years. I gather you have seen every game EP have played for years and years.
If you knew anything about the side which has the Gatto boys, Haughey, Tankard, Chamings, Clements, Day, Warren, McMullen, McIvor, Jones, Paul & at least six U18 premiership lads from a couple of years ago just to name a few off the current list you would know how far off the mark your ridiculous statement is.

Seen many sides and forum members give WOS some lip during the minor rounds in the past. Hasn't worked out well for them.

Yeah, historically, finals WOS is a whole lot better than regular season WOS.
