Half time Queensland 10-4. Queensland more possession and have been peppering the NSW defensive line but NSW has had the better field position and playing the better footy but couldn't manage to make it count on the scoreboard in the first half.

Queensland 16-4. Andrew Fifita has been acting like a flog all night, coughs the footy up during a pretty good set of six by NSW which eventually turns into an easy Queensland try. Dane Gagai gets a double.

NSW score their first try, 16-10. Queensland were on top but NSW still have some fight left in them

Corey Oates scores his first 2016 Origin try. Was an outstanding play by the Maroons to create that scoring opportunity. JT converts, Queensland 26-16

Queensland 26-16 win game two. That was a much more entertaining match than the first game.

EAD Phil Gould you one-eyed flog.

I like Gould, even on origin games and I support QLD. The one that really bugs me is Fittler. Gagai runs the length of the field after being under an injury cloud and scores a try, Fittler doesn't know who to give credit to out of Gagai and the two blokes who couldn't run him down in time. How about the bloke who succeeded and not the blokes who failed?

I always find Gould comes across less like a whinger and more like a problem solver. It's all from the NSW perspective but usually what NSW aren't doing right or what they could do. Biased as heck, but not whinging. Got no issue with biased commentators but needs some balance. Last night we had Warren, Gould and Sterling in the box with their NSW glasses on and Fatty almost sheepishly apologetic for putting in a bit of QLD perspective. They must have gone to Fittler 5 times as often as Lockyer on the ground too. Chop Sterling and Vautin. I know they're loved but time has passed them by and they don't seem to add much anymore. Bring in a QLD caller to share with Warren and some opinionated QLD bloke (surely not hard to find) to mirror Gould and we're fine. And replace Fittler with Johns.

I've watched SOO since I was a little fella and the bias commentary used to annoy me. However, I now appreciate the fact they don't pretend to like the other team. It's all part of what makes SOO great and impossible to replicate. Sure it's always been 80% NSW in the box which can get a bit much, but it makes victory even sweeter when they get the sh*ts on and start ragging on their own team.
I apologise.

I do love that. Every year the same people come out and make big calls and 90% of them never happen. Saw one today that said they need to go to one ref because it'll suit NSW. Seems odd to alter the game like that to suit a particular side, but that's how many around the game seem to see it.

Exciting finish. NSW were in full control until Boyd scored and it looked like QLD would snatch it then that last play from NSW was awesome.

Rewarding for NSW but means f**k all as the damage was already done. Another series win for Queensland!!!
