Completely understand your point.

I'm still of the view that the extent the addition of strong clubs will add to the stability (which has been lacking in recent years re Para Hills, Kilburn etc.) will ultimately be to the League's benefit.

At the end of the day it's one year.

Closest SAAFL oval? (I'm presuming would be PHOS or Plympton?)

Funny shaped oval, sort of runs ENE/WSW. It isn't North / South or East / West.

Terrible spot to try and judge a quick single.... ;)

Terrible ground. Closest would be Plympton, Phos and Edwardstown.

at the end of the day, 2 teams would normally go down anyway in any other circumstance.

Just means that whoever is sitting 8th needs to get off their arse and start winning games (and hope 7th keeps losing)

Been through relegation and narrowly missing out on winning promotion all in the last 5 years.

It's seldom the end of the world. Found it tends to add to the motivation for the following year (albeit admittedly we've been a tad more fluid through the divisions than most).

I understand where you're coming from but if you only win 3 games for the year in your A grade history says you're going down a grade. Win 4 you're still a pretty good chance to go down.

Read the end of the CEO's Letter.

What does this mean? Sounds like they've got wind of something that might grease the wheels for everyone and the above is the worst case scenario?

Funnily enough was down there today for a job on Denham Ave which the oval is located on and had a bit of a squizz. What a bizarre oval if you can call it that, no bloody pockets on one side

Haven't played there for years. From a vague memory the goals at each end are on different angles too.

Id say the best thing lockleys should do then is to leave and affiliate with the SFL and return in 2019 via div 3 :D

What I read is that a change is very much forseen.

Anyone going to fall over or leave?

Hence the Pasty, big fat wing on one side and no wing at all on the other, add in the trees hanging over the ground on the Morphett Rd end it is unique!

Marbles, both Brighton and MV don;t collect entry fee in the SFL....are you saying Marion wanted to keep charging to get in?
