Corona Man wrote:The press release basically said they would play 2 spinners BMac. I've said it many times, an all rounder, and I means GENIUNE all rounder is fine, but we actually don't have one. So now we take 2 blokes who both bat & bowl a bit on tour! Ok perhaps take one. Neither of them is good enough to play as either a batter in the top 6, or as part of our best 4 bowlers, in any conditions. Give me a player who can either bat or bowl a lot, than a bloke who can do a little of either.

I rate Zampa's batting not far behind either of the seamers mentioned.

S. Marsh, Henriques, NCN, O'Keefe?

I mean seriously, Shaun ******* Marsh?

In preperation for the series the test squad are currently playing an inter-squad match with members of the National Performance Squad. The Aussies also have another warm up fixture, a first class three day match.

SOK 10 wickets and top scores... Does he get a start in the 1st test?

Not sure how Okeefee is drawing the same level of ire as the truly shitful Shaun Marsh. I reckon Okeefee will go well in Sri Lanka.

Mendis lbw for 4 to Hazelwood, again deadset plumb. The way Warner just lobbed the ball on the pitch from the covers reverse swing might come into play early.
