Lucky the reserves are in, ensuring the SANFL retains media coverage. Channel 7, just flashed today's score up for all of 3 seconds. How would the SANFL survive with out such awesome coverage.

The cynic in me tells me he has been told not to start them to boost online numbers in other areas ;)

Think again, daysofourlives...

This is not the case, at all, mate...

I simply don't have the time anymore and it's not a priority...

I am busy on game day, setting up equipment, arranging commentators and running the social media for the Stream Team...

The League wouldn't tell me to do anything like that, trust me...

You are well and truly barking up the wrong tree...

The website that got you your gigs in the media and SANFL isn't your priority?
Sorry to hear that Big Phil. :(

Yep, nothing to do with your skills, experience, work ethic, other contacts.... it's only this almighty website that got you gigs
Shame no one else can be bothered to pick up where you left off on here.

Yeah 19000+ posts averaging over 6 per day, not much of a contribution that.

By my count Big Phil has been involved in the media for 8-9 seasons now so he has hardly left here as soon as paying gigs came up.

Given some of the crap he has had to put up here with over time, especially recently
I am surprised he posts here anymore at all.

Why does Big Phil have to be the one to start a live scores thread? Is no one else able?

Why is he the one who is supposed to care if no one else does?

Like me, on most game days, he has his hands full already.

From my memory at least half a dozen different people have started different live score threads this season. You're being pretty disrespectful to those people Phil.

Nothing stopping you from starting them.

And no offense to Phil, but game day threads existed on here before he joined and I think he quite enjoyed starting them up each week.

Fully appreciate you don't have time anymore Phil.

Why don't people download the SANFL app on your phone. Then you can get the live scores without having to go on the SAFOOTY website to find out the scores!!! Pretty sure most people have a mobile phone

Sometimes it's good to see all 4 scores at the same time. If you're just following the one game the SANFL site is good. I like the comments on the game day thread also.

Is there any chance of a turnout @ the Elimination Final next Saturday - to barrack against the Cows?
Not that I'm suggesting something be organised, more so wondering if the whole thing has actually run its course & people have 'dropped off' caring?
With no AFL Finals this week, the crowd numbers might well be up as Cows supports (dare I say it, 4000 of them) may actually turn up.
Such a 'result' will no doubt be used by the 'Pro-Reserves Lobby' to support their argument?

Depends if the Advertiser or 5AA tells them it's on. ;)

Seriously though, a few Crows fans will probably turn up, those that aren't still in conniptions over Friday night's loss. ;)

Seriously though, I think there might be an even spread of Centrals fans, Crows fans and neutrals barracking against the Crows. I'm keen to pop down and check out both games and perhaps lend the 'Dogs a hand.

Yep, I'd much prefer people boycott it. Would love to see the smallest finals crowd ever

I appreciate and agree with that sentiment to an extent, but if people stayed away then it would penalise Sturt and South who both deserve to play finals in front of a decent crowd.
