Backmen have an impossible job. Play in front and get pushed / shoved out of the contest, Play behind and they only have to breathe on a forward for it to be a free kick. And yes, it seems certain players get away with a lot more than others for some reason?

Round 19 with alacrity

Postby Jim05 » Sun Jul 31, 2016 7:52 pm

Better outcome than what I had envisioned.
Atrocious skill errors but they didn't give up. It's all about giving all the list a go and sorting out who's papers need stamping.
When Joey learns to kick he is going to rip some sides apart

Thanks for kicking the last three Essendon, it would have been an atrocity if we dropped out if the four after a good win.

Didnt see freo/swans but kennedy, hanneberry, mundy & neale all over 40 possessions - must have just shook hands at the start and went their own way in the midfield!

Sounds more like the other resident crowd at AO, also at the Cattery...

No surprise there considering every cow supporter at AO thinks it's holding the ball when an opposition player gets the ball. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL

Might be able to hear the Swans supporters if they sold out the SCG more than 4 times in the last 10 years ;)

How do you expect us to sell out when cost of living is so bloody expensive?

I can't believe any footy fan wouldn't have foxtel.

If I could just get the footy channel and a couple of sports channels I'd get it. Otherwise it's a waste of $$$

Agreed. Plus, Mrs Boon barely tolerates football over the weekend, I'd significantly lower my *ahem* chances if I rolled out footy every night of the week. ;)

Surely 50,000 of the 7.6 million could afford to get along?

I agree that it's a massive achievement but surely changing your jumper to commemorate a single player is gong a bit far? Why not just sell them, the players don't have to wear them

Lied? LBH, he probably told the truth but he was told it was wise to say otherwise afterwards. Club legends don't want to go to court together, do they? Especially when there's so much dirty laundry that could be aired as evidence.

Going too far? There's guernsey changes every week.

True, and it's not like they wanted to use the State guernsey.
